ABOUT DANIELDaniel Halasz is an award-winning photographer and visual artist. He was born in Hungary, but grew up in North Africa and Belgium. Before deciding to pursue visual arts, he studied Economics, Sociology and Scandinavian Studies. Daniel attended the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and received his MFA in Photography in 2011.He is the recipient of a number of grand prizes, including the Google Photography Prize, the Epson Art Photo Award, the Head On Portrait Prize and the European Year of Creativity and Innovation Award.He creates photographic campaigns for an extensive roster of clients including top brands, advertising agencies, hotel groups, developers and interior designers and has over 10 years of experience. He takes part in art projects such as Golden Boundaries (Robert Capa Center), Family (The Hermitage Museum) and 585.000 m2 (Jerusalem Biennale). Previously, he was a Board Member of SYAA and worked for leading magazines such as Index or Origo.Daniel moved to the US in 2016 and is now based in New York and Budapest.
