Office

The office spaces of the most visited Hungarian website

[origo] is not only a news portal, but also provides a variety of other services besides traditional media coverage. The site is famous for its objective and neutral style in journalism, and therefore attracts readers of all political persuasions. The articles are calm and impartial, without any personal opinions. The photographs do not reveal a special or personalized working environment, but rather an ordinary one. Modern workplaces and offices seem to loose their unique qualities or not even have any. The workplace does not connect with the activity or the profile of the companies anymore. The actual production itself is hidden behind a camouflage of standard office design.

Winner, best class – 2008 – Epson Art Photo Award, Jury: Andreas Gursky, Thomas Weski
